NOTD Crows Toes - Absolum, Your Potions Master

Quick post again! This is an absolute glitter bomb, this is one coat dabbled over a dark green base

Nightmare to remove but oh, so so so worth it!

This has all sorts in it and really is like a magical potion

Crows toes are available from Llarowe and Overall Beauty just er, not this one!

Pretty & Polished True Blue Duo

Hello! Today I have my second set from Pretty & Polished to show you! This spoke to me because I love blue and I love holographic polishes, so a blue holographic that isn't a baby blue? Pass it my way!

The set also includes a glitter topcoat, you can buy as a set or as single polishes

I decided to do a few different nails to show you Thumb and middle finger are Sea Spray on its own. Index finger is Sea Spray with a coat of Bubbles on top. Ring finger is two coats of Bubbles, I know some people who like to wear glitter topcoats alone so thought I would show you! Pinky finger is Sea Spray with Bubbles as a glitter tip!

As I love Holo polish I would keep Sea Spray to wear alone for full effect, but will definitely wear Bubbles over a white next time, its got holo glitter, different shades of blue and even some square glitter, I love glitter that is different to the normal plain hexes!

Here are two pictures with a flash against light as I live in the UK and we have had no sun for days, so the holo in Sea Spray was hiding until I played around with different light settings, but here it is coming out to play on my middle finger!

This blue is an awesome shade for my skintone, I like anything that works well with my paleness (which is finally returning after the accidental tanning of this summer!)

Pretty & Polished is available from here and here and is all made by hand :) which I am kind of in awe of, I wouldn't know where to start!

NOTD Dollish Polish - It's A Me Mario!

Happy New Years Eve! Any plans? My plans involve staying in! Weather is pretty horrendous and everywhere is expensive! My Sky+ box is currently recording a load of Friends episodes so might enjoy them with a bottle of fizz!

Anyhoo, today's nail features a polish I wasn't sure I would get my mitts on when it was released! As much as I love Llarowe I am not one of the crazy ones who wait for the release and go mad trying to buy! So when I had money and wanted to purchase I browsed the makes and saw THIS!

Dollish was the first Indie maker I heard of and I now have quite the collection!

This is an awesome polish, a clear base (I used Sally Hansen Ruby Rush for undies) with red, blue and turquoise hex glitters and some amazing holo stars!

The stars were hit and miss. The stars on my ring and pinky fingers were ones I fished out and placed on so you can see them clearly.

The ones on my index and middle fingers came out with no help so annoyingly for me got covered with the red and blue glitters!

This is my right hand, hence the rubbish photo! I managed to get at least one star on each nail, getting the stars out was simply a case of replacing the cap and turning over for a few seconds and a few dips and inspections of the brush!

I do not like the feel of glittery polishes so when Leah Ann from Llarowe offered to send me Glitter Food by Nail Pattern Boldness I said yes straight away and it is great! It dries to a satin finish so may do some matte mani's with it soon! Glitter literally sucks it up and makes a smooth base for topcoats!

Both Dollish Polish and Nail Pattern Boldness are available from Llarowe!

My Festive Mani!

Hello! Nearly time for the big day! Are you all ready? I am all set now and looking forward to it!

I know I said I was going to review some Butter London but forgot to take pictures before doing my festive mani! It also chipped when I was at a gig, first time I ever got a chip!

So anyway I received Color Clubs Insta-This! In my Jolie Box and had to use it, I know red is common for a festive mani but I like to be different!

Insta-This! Is an amazing blue polish that dried matte as it is neon based and covered fully in 2 coats, of course being Christmas I wanted to jazz it up a bit!

I used Andrea Fulerton Glitter Puff in a silver holographic, as I wanted to do the tips I deposited some in a pot, repainted my tips and dipped!

It was great fun blowing off the excess and spreading glitter everywhere!

When I applied a topcoat it distributed the glitter over my nails, an effect I liked so kept. To me it reminds me of falling snow in a night sky :)

I used a coat of Gelous topcoat then Seche Vite to make this heardwearing but also make the tips not feel so bumpy!

Insta-This! Is a special polish to mark the collaboration of Color Club and Birch Box so hard to find but Andrea Fulerton products are available in most Superdrug stores!

Merry Christmas everyone!

NOTD Never Naked Nail Lacquer - Turtle Tango

Hi everyone! Are we all nearly ready for Christmas? I am bar the tree but that goes up the day after my Dad's birthday so the 13th for us!

Today I have the second of the polishes sent to me by Kate from NNNL  this is Turtle Tango from the Lush Lizard line. I already tried Black Mamba Samba from the line and loved it so was looking forward to trying this!

Turtle Tango is a sheer layering polish, an orange shimmer base with green hex glitter with a few green holo hex glitters thrown in.

I used two layers over a white polish (Barry M Matte White) and was really pleased with the way the green glitter spread over my nails.

What I also loved (surprise surprise!) was the hidden holo in the micro shimmer base!
Due to the weather this took some coaxing out but I finally got a shot!

Now this is not a polish shot but Emmy wanted to help and insisted I take her picture, and what a lovely one it is :)

This is her helping me by sticking the polish bottle in shot!

Turtle Tango is beautiful and not like anything else I have in my stash and will be available in the new year from http://www.etsy.com/shop/NeverNakedNails

NOTD Girly Bits - Into The Night

Happy Weekend! I was so pleased it was Saturday today, this week the kids went back after half term and it honestly feels like they have been back a month! The school run is exhausting, roll on Christmas holidays!

Today I have another Indie for you all. Painting my nails has become a slight chore in that it takes me forever to choose what to wear from my ever growing collection! Think I need to exert some control on myself :/

This here is the gorgeous Into The Night!

This for me was a layering polish as I don't like visible nail line so I used it over Nails Inc London Nights for a truly dark night look.

The fact my 6 year old daughter declared my nails awesome and cool after seeing my new paint job says a lot as if a polish isn't wow then she doesn't care to comment!

I used two coats of London Nights and two coats of Into The Night and it reminds me of stars and fireworks! Micro glitter holo yuminess making this such a wonderful polish that I think will be used many times this winter!

Slight blur in the next two pictures to show the beautiful colours!

Be still my beating heart!

Into The Night was one of my many purchases from Llarowe but is not in stock anymore! You gotta be quick to buy from there but oh my, it is always well worth it!

NOTD Hits - Hera

Happy Wednesday, half way through the week, hurrah! I am mega excited, my first trip to Sally's tomorrow with a trade carded friend, this could be expensive! But since I am waiting for a Llarowe order and making my way through the past order so may show some restraint (hmmmmm)

Anyway, here is the other holo I mentioned in my last post, the weather here has been so hit and miss so hard to bring out the full holo goodness!

Hera is one of the more unusual polishes I now own, it is truly beautiful and I kept it on for nearly a week and it lasted well bar the tip wear you see here and that is with no topcoat! How comes we can't make such good holo's in this country!

Application was a breeze, again, why that is not possible with UK holo's I really don't know!

This is two coats, no streaking, no bald patches just awesomeness!

This shot shows how amazing this is!

In the sahe this is still beautiful and looks like a shimmery, silver shot green

I do recall commenting on a picture of a green polish before I started blogging and saying I would never wear green polish, oh how I have changed!

I am probably going to be showing more of my Hits soon since I have a few multi chromes to show you :)

Hits is only available to UK customers through the amazing Llarowe http://shop.llarowe.com/collections/hits/products/hera

I know I praise this online shop all the time but they really are great!

NOTD Hits - Poseidon

Special polish alert! And special it certainly is! I got this with my recent Llarowe order and being a huge holo fan I whipped off what was on my nails and put this stunner on!

This is the beautiful pale blue Poseidon holo polish in artificial light which will be coming in handy since the darker days are now here in the UK!

In day light the holo is more subtle but much much more pizazz than my 'high street' holo's!

I could sit and look at this all day, and er night, which I did here and took pictures in my bedside lamp light as I just couldn't get enough of it!

See? Amazing!

I also have this in a gorgeous deep green which I am going to try next!

This is just a fun photo, I decided to sort out my ever growing stash and this was the result of emptying all of my boxes! Believe it or not it has grown since and I am due another delivery soon. My love knows no bounds!

Poseidon is still available here http://shop.llarowe.com/collections/hits/products/poseidon and as it is a Brazilian brand they are hard to get in the UK but delivery from Llarowe is not hugely expensive but I defy you to buy just one polish! Prices are very reasonable once converted as well.

I could purchase the whole lot from there if I could.......

Ooh sorry, daydreaming there! If you love holo's and polishes that are not easily found in shops then check out Llarowe, you won't regret it!

NOTD Smitten Polish - You're Turning Violet, Violet

Since I got my first Indie polish a few weeks back I had a little splurge and thanks to a great website (more on that later) and a blog sale I have no amassed quite the collection!

This beauty is so lovely that at a pamper evening last night two of my friends were gutted I hadn't taken this along after seeing it on my nails!

This is a beautiful polish, a violet base with lovely micro holo glitter which my camera didn't pick up and the most gorgeous hex glitter that looks blue in some light and purple in others.

I was fully expecting to need undies for this (a base of a similar colour) but was surprised to find this was a really dense colour and two coats was all I needed!

This was a greedy polish though and sucked up two coats of topcoat and still felt bumpy, but I love it so much that I don't care!

This is it in natural light, hard to come by now it is officially winter in the UK!

This is in artificial light and it really pops out the blue hex glitter!

Macro shot, yummy!

I purchased this from http://shop.llarowe.com/ and had to wait for delivery from the US, but boy it was worth it! Llarowe stock so many indie polishes and branded polishes we struggle to get here in the UK and prices are pretty reasonable once you convert it to GBP.

I was so pleased with my order that I promptly placed another and will purchase again for sure! Some indie releases sell out really quickly but I managed to get lots and am due lots more!

Addict? Yes, I am not officially obsessed with indie and hard to find polishes so expect lots more to come!
