NOTD Crows Toes - Hell Hath No Fury

Sorry for being MIA, blogging is taking a small back seat for a little while but will be back in full force soon :)

Today I have a swatch of the insane Hell Hath No Fury by Crows Toes, such an apt name for me at the moment since fury is am emotion I often feel at the moment!

This polish is an amazing mix, orange glitter in hex and line shapes, red hexes, micro glitter and some insanely awesome lilac glitter that should be out of place but glows from the base of this polish!

I did use undies for this but as this has been in my draft folder for so long I have forgotten but it would have been a generic drug store colour!

Due to the amount of glitter the base of this polish is quite thick, some might want to thin it out but I prefer to not do that so just dabble it on the nail

This looks like I have tip wear but I don't, my old phone camera frequently made polishes look like I had tip wear, very odd!

Drying time is quite long for this polish, but not unbearably so, I used a coat of Gelish and a coat of Seche to make it touch dry but had to be careful not to do anything that would apply pressure to my nails.

Removal is best done using the foil method, which I automatically do with glitterbombs!

Crows Toes is available from Llarowe and Overall Beauty

NOTD Crows Toes - Absolum, Your Potions Master

Quick post again! This is an absolute glitter bomb, this is one coat dabbled over a dark green base

Nightmare to remove but oh, so so so worth it!

This has all sorts in it and really is like a magical potion

Crows toes are available from Llarowe and Overall Beauty just er, not this one!

NOTD Jindie Nails - Candy Land plus bonus musings!

Hello! Been a little busy and didn't realise it had been two weeks since I last blogged, whoops!

So anyway, unless you have been living under a rock you may know that the UK was blanketed in snow this  month. Which inspired me to try Candy Land by Jindie Nails as the beautiful milky base was perfect for a snowy manicure!

This is my first polish I have tried that has matte glitter, but I love it and the fluro colours are amazing and really pop out of the base!

Application was a bit hard, even after storing it upside down, but as I could only get my hands on the mini bottle I think that is why! This is 3 coats and it is fully opaque, glitter placement was fairly uniform, my only problem was on my index finger, I knocked it not long after the mani and the glitter peeled off!

Candy Land has won me over as I wasn't sure the white base is for me, but I LOVE it!

Candy Land is hard to get, but Jen has an Etsy Store here but currently no stock available. Jindie Nails are also now being stocked at my favourite etailer Llarowe hurrah! Also at Mei Mei's Signatures but I haven't purchased from them yet.

Here are some bonus snow pictures, I braved the cold and went in my back garden with Emmy, which I usually avoid, here she is with our snow 'mum'

snow mum and snow baby

pleased with our frankly awful snowmen!

We had a snowball fight after this, lots of fun!

Mean mummy that I am pushed her over in the snow!

We then came inside and had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows!

It all looked lovely!

My neighbours mad cat, his sister didn't come out until yesterday when all the snow had nearly gone!

Snowmen Emmy built out the front with her father

Silly face!

Have you enjoyed the snow or is it too inconvenient and annoying?

NOTD Hits - Cutie Pie

Ok, so second post for me today since this polish has had so many enquiries it would be rude not to blog it!

Behold the glorious of Cutie Pie! If a polish makes your non cosmetic mum go 'oh my god how did you do that to your nails?' you know its a winner!

Cutie Pie is an amazing multichrome, shifting from blue to purple here...

An amazing green here....

Even just keeping your hand still it shifts from green to blur to purple!

Ahhhh so dreamy and yet not a hint of glitter!

if you move your hand a certain way this takes on a rosy tone that sometimes looks gold but my camera couldn't catch that!

The bottle makes me think of a petrol on water effect but hyped up!

This shot shows the green, blue and purple all on one hand!

This polish was purchased as part of a set from Llarowe but perhaps unsurprisingly both the set and single bottle are out of stock but keep an eye out as it may be back!

NOTD Hits - Hera

Happy Wednesday, half way through the week, hurrah! I am mega excited, my first trip to Sally's tomorrow with a trade carded friend, this could be expensive! But since I am waiting for a Llarowe order and making my way through the past order so may show some restraint (hmmmmm)

Anyway, here is the other holo I mentioned in my last post, the weather here has been so hit and miss so hard to bring out the full holo goodness!

Hera is one of the more unusual polishes I now own, it is truly beautiful and I kept it on for nearly a week and it lasted well bar the tip wear you see here and that is with no topcoat! How comes we can't make such good holo's in this country!

Application was a breeze, again, why that is not possible with UK holo's I really don't know!

This is two coats, no streaking, no bald patches just awesomeness!

This shot shows how amazing this is!

In the sahe this is still beautiful and looks like a shimmery, silver shot green

I do recall commenting on a picture of a green polish before I started blogging and saying I would never wear green polish, oh how I have changed!

I am probably going to be showing more of my Hits soon since I have a few multi chromes to show you :)

Hits is only available to UK customers through the amazing Llarowe http://shop.llarowe.com/collections/hits/products/hera

I know I praise this online shop all the time but they really are great!

NOTD Hits - Poseidon

Special polish alert! And special it certainly is! I got this with my recent Llarowe order and being a huge holo fan I whipped off what was on my nails and put this stunner on!

This is the beautiful pale blue Poseidon holo polish in artificial light which will be coming in handy since the darker days are now here in the UK!

In day light the holo is more subtle but much much more pizazz than my 'high street' holo's!

I could sit and look at this all day, and er night, which I did here and took pictures in my bedside lamp light as I just couldn't get enough of it!

See? Amazing!

I also have this in a gorgeous deep green which I am going to try next!

This is just a fun photo, I decided to sort out my ever growing stash and this was the result of emptying all of my boxes! Believe it or not it has grown since and I am due another delivery soon. My love knows no bounds!

Poseidon is still available here http://shop.llarowe.com/collections/hits/products/poseidon and as it is a Brazilian brand they are hard to get in the UK but delivery from Llarowe is not hugely expensive but I defy you to buy just one polish! Prices are very reasonable once converted as well.

I could purchase the whole lot from there if I could.......

Ooh sorry, daydreaming there! If you love holo's and polishes that are not easily found in shops then check out Llarowe, you won't regret it!

NOTD Smitten Polish - You're Turning Violet, Violet

Since I got my first Indie polish a few weeks back I had a little splurge and thanks to a great website (more on that later) and a blog sale I have no amassed quite the collection!

This beauty is so lovely that at a pamper evening last night two of my friends were gutted I hadn't taken this along after seeing it on my nails!

This is a beautiful polish, a violet base with lovely micro holo glitter which my camera didn't pick up and the most gorgeous hex glitter that looks blue in some light and purple in others.

I was fully expecting to need undies for this (a base of a similar colour) but was surprised to find this was a really dense colour and two coats was all I needed!

This was a greedy polish though and sucked up two coats of topcoat and still felt bumpy, but I love it so much that I don't care!

This is it in natural light, hard to come by now it is officially winter in the UK!

This is in artificial light and it really pops out the blue hex glitter!

Macro shot, yummy!

I purchased this from http://shop.llarowe.com/ and had to wait for delivery from the US, but boy it was worth it! Llarowe stock so many indie polishes and branded polishes we struggle to get here in the UK and prices are pretty reasonable once you convert it to GBP.

I was so pleased with my order that I promptly placed another and will purchase again for sure! Some indie releases sell out really quickly but I managed to get lots and am due lots more!

Addict? Yes, I am not officially obsessed with indie and hard to find polishes so expect lots more to come!
