Revlon Lip Butter Raspberry Pie

Just a quick post from me today, normal service shall resume once my life here has calmed down a little!
I am a little late on the lip butter bandwagon, having gone for the Rouge Caresse by L'oreal! But I won this little gem and am totally in love!

scuse the unmade, hormonal skin!

I was surprised at how saturated the colour was!

I adore this colour, it is perfect for me, cool toned pink and so glossy without any stickiness and the best thing for me? No taste! I love the Rouge Caresse but detest the taste so shall be stocking up on these!

I am also dying to try the crayon lippie too, since I cannot justify a Clinique Chubby Stick splurge this side of Christmas!

Revlon products are available in most high street retailers

NOTD - Kleancolor Blind Date

Sorry to bring you another US polish, but browse ebay!
I loved this the second I saw it and it didn't disappoint in the bottle

But alas it was a right royal pain to get on, to get the stars on the nail I had to blob them on which made the nail messy as when trying to level it out it just dragged the stars off the nail!

Next time I use it I shall pour some out and apply with a pin like implement!

I couldn't feel any annoyance of the stars on the nail but after this and a coat of quick drying topcoat I had to remove it as it was blobby and uneven!

Here it is layered over Revlon Steel Her Heart

NOTD - Revlon - Steel Her Heart

I have a confession! I am a nail polish snob! I tend to favour the big, high end brands over so called 'drug store' brands.
But I was sent this for review and fell for the colour straight away. I do love a nice steel grey!

The brush is thin, which worried me as to how it would apply as I love a nice wide brush, but was surprised at the ease of application, it went on a dream and spread nice and evenly
I went in my garden to try and get the best pics but alas, it is bank holiday weekend so of course NO SUN!

Drying time was pretty average, and these pictures show it with no topcoat, it is pretty shiny alone! Being a frosty-ish polish it is a little brush stroky but very forgiving on the nails, not bringing out flaws like a full on frost would!
This product was sent to me for review and is currently out of stock from Raven Cosmetics but keep an eye out for it! Raven Cosmetics offers discounted cosmetics and fabulous offers for Facebook fans too, so follow them on http://www.facebook.com/www.ravencosmetics.co.uk it is really worth it!
