NOTD 2 True - Shade 4

Hello everyone! Today I have an excellent 'drug store' as in high street to you and me, bargain for you all.
I was immediately drawn to crystal polishes and got 3 all for the grand old price of £5!

I blogged a gorgeous teal here and also love this shade.

It is a real shimmery purple and danced in the lights but the shimmer was even visible in low light

For a high street polish the application was a dream and the wear was amazing!

I keep looking for more of these polishes but they are forever sold out!

2 True polishes are available from most Superdrug stores and seem to always be on 3 for £5!

NOTD Pretty & Polished - Daddy's Girl

Happy New Year to my followers everywhere!

I had a lovely night with my mum and dad and we let Emmy stay up until the fireworks had finished on the tv :)

So I don't really have any resolutions, I never keep them but I have some plans for the new year that I hope to aspire to achieve!

So today I have another lovely indie for you, Pretty & Polished Daddy's Girl

It is a beautiful dusty blue with shiny teal and baby pink glitter and also what I think is hot pink matte glitter! It also includes some lovely pink hearts which I didn't realise until I applied this to my nail wheel!

I was expecting this to be too sheer to wear alone but this is two coats!

Can you see the hearts on my index and pinky fingers?!

This is my right hand hence the odd shot but this shows some more stars but they are quite subtle so might try this with a coat of OPI Nothin' Mousey About It!

I got 8 hearts on one mani without too much dipping and shaking!

I used this with a coat of NPB Glitter food so can barely feel the hearts and they are very secure. Not sure what removal will be like but can't be any harder than full glitter bombs that I frequently wear!

Pretty & Polished have an Etsy Shop here and an online shop here and Glitter Food is available here

NOTD Dollish Polish - It's A Me Mario!

Happy New Years Eve! Any plans? My plans involve staying in! Weather is pretty horrendous and everywhere is expensive! My Sky+ box is currently recording a load of Friends episodes so might enjoy them with a bottle of fizz!

Anyhoo, today's nail features a polish I wasn't sure I would get my mitts on when it was released! As much as I love Llarowe I am not one of the crazy ones who wait for the release and go mad trying to buy! So when I had money and wanted to purchase I browsed the makes and saw THIS!

Dollish was the first Indie maker I heard of and I now have quite the collection!

This is an awesome polish, a clear base (I used Sally Hansen Ruby Rush for undies) with red, blue and turquoise hex glitters and some amazing holo stars!

The stars were hit and miss. The stars on my ring and pinky fingers were ones I fished out and placed on so you can see them clearly.

The ones on my index and middle fingers came out with no help so annoyingly for me got covered with the red and blue glitters!

This is my right hand, hence the rubbish photo! I managed to get at least one star on each nail, getting the stars out was simply a case of replacing the cap and turning over for a few seconds and a few dips and inspections of the brush!

I do not like the feel of glittery polishes so when Leah Ann from Llarowe offered to send me Glitter Food by Nail Pattern Boldness I said yes straight away and it is great! It dries to a satin finish so may do some matte mani's with it soon! Glitter literally sucks it up and makes a smooth base for topcoats!

Both Dollish Polish and Nail Pattern Boldness are available from Llarowe!
