My hair ritual

While I will admit to having pretty good hair, even with the abuse of dyeing it black every 8 weeks, I was keen to try Ojon and really wanted too try the original - Damage Reverse!
This has a pretty big cult following on the internet, in the US especially it is generally hailed as a 'can't live without' hair range!
The little pot at the front of this picture is the product that started it all, it contains Ojon oil, which is an ancient oil said to restore hair back to virgin quality (not colour obviously!) and thanks to a fantastic deal on the Ojon website I got the shampoo and conditioner when I purchased the pot of Restorative Hair Treatment!
This is the shampoo, conditioner and the treatment as it is straight out of the pot. The shampoo is rich and doesn't need an awful lot to get a good wash. The conditioner is thick and lovely and designed for use from scalp to ends.
The treatment is really an oil and you emulsify it in your hands before applying to your hair, depending on your hair you generally need a teaspoon and a half of products, it comes with a handy little scoop. Personally I have to use two and a half teaspoons as my hair is thick.
This is the spray that I use after, it adds shine and is repairing and conditioning.
The only downside to my ritual is the smell of the treatment, it stinks, of bonfires! But the smell doesn't linger once washed out and the result on my hair is totally worth it! Soft, shiny and full of body. I can't imagine ever going back to another brand apart from when I need to prep my hair for colour! There is lots more from this range I am wanting to try, so watch this space! Ojon is available direct from here or also sets are available from QVC

NOTD - OPI Designer Series - Radiance

This polish was on my lust list for a long time. I was absolutely desperate for it but never got round to shelling out for it, but managed to get it in a swap. I was so excited until I put it on....

For the price these polishes are (£16.75 direct from Lena White) this was just not as wow as I was expecting, in fact to my eye it was just a bog standard silver foil, albeit a little more flash in the sun than say Your Royal Shine-ness

Also I think you can see on my thumb nail and some of my other fingers, it cracked up! No polish (bar shatters obvs!) have ever done that before and I did nothing to make it do this!
Overall, this just didn't wow me, so I swapped it for more polishes I did like! Radiance is available from Lena White and QVC

Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser

I have already reviewed the Elemis Melting Gel Cleanser, but have decided to add this to my regime. I prefer my Melting Gel in the morning and this for the evening. It has a similar feel to Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish but I prefer this. It is really rich and creamy and is gentle enough to use on your eyes! I detest eye make up removers so this is perfect. You spread one or two pumps over the face and massage it around, leave it for a minute and wipe off!
This is how amazing it is as a cleanser!
One and a bit pumps, leave it to do its job and your face is left squeaky clean! Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser is available from Feel Unique, Time To Spa, QVC and all good department stores

Funky Fingers - Baby Baby Baby

I am being a real big meany pants today and bringing you a polish that I cannot find to buy anywhere! I got it in a swap and boy, glad I did! I got it in the post this morning and have never got my acetone out so quickly! I love it so much I had to post about it!
In the shade it doesn't look wow, well in photos it doesn't! In real life its a totally wow holo glitter polish!
Even in the sun I had trouble showing how much this glints and shifts colour, so frustrating to take pictures of!
So to really show off the colour I decided to do a couple of macro shots in the sun and here you can see the truly gorgeous sparkles and believe me in the sunlight in real life this is one gorgeous polish, although I was caught taking pictures of my nails in my garden and got some odd looks from said neighbour! But the picture shows that this is so worth it!
Might be worth trawling ebay for this if you like it, I shall be hanging onto mine forever!

*waves* hello!

As I have yet again been missing in action again for a fair while, I thought I would post an update about me and how things are going my end, especially with regards to my resolutions! Being nicer to myself hasn't really gone too well, I still have a big problem with 'me' and have yet to like the me I am. Being healthier is also not going to plan but my last resolution will clear that up. I initially lost a lot of weight in light of recent events but I am now up and down like a yo-yo, I need to get a grip again before it all goes back on, so I have started taking more care this week. Be more selective? Uhhhhmmmm, well Feel Unique no longer do a beauty box and Carmine are no more but I do get GlossyBox and JolieBox again! But there is 2 more newbies on the market that I have yet to be lured too! I have though, been buying myself stuff! Sure most of my new wardrobe was courtesy of my birthday money but I have also spent other money on myself which almost never happens! The last one is a biggy and the hardest to write but will explain my sporadic posting. I split up with my husband so needless to say blogging took a back seat for a while. But feeling a bit brighter now, I shall be staying in the house for the time being but will be moving at some point, just me and the kids. I also left my TA position and my course, god I hated it! I have decided to pursue my first love and would like to do a make-up course but need the money first! So there that is a small update from me, hopefully I shall now be up for posting a bit more frequently! Kelly x
